Slow Food Pannonia Pécs was founded at the start of 2010 based on the international non-profit Slow Food Organisation. With two successful events already behind it, Slow Food Pécs Pannonia will presents herbs for food and teas on Thursday, 17 June."Slow Food is an international actor bringing together pleasure in food and maturity as consummers," said Claudia Mari, President of Slow Food Pécs Pannonia. The desire of the members is to promoteresponsible agriculture and species-appropriate livestock breeding. Traditional food production skills and the regional variety os tastes should be preserved, she explained. The international non-profit organisation is now 20 years old and has created a large worlwide network rooted in the idea of "GLOCALISATION," that means actions on a locaé level with global aims," Mari explained.
